Technical Marketing Manager

ADCBio is an innovative biotechnology company developing new process technology to speed, simplify and significantly lower the production costs of the latest generation of anti-cancer blockbuster drugs, Antibody Drug Conjugates (ADCs). Formed in 2010, ADCBio have recently secured significant investment that is enabling a new dedicated 6500m² facility in Deeside to support the rapid extension plan of the Company. To support this growth, we are recruiting for a Technical Marketing Manager. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for assisting the commercial team to expand and develop growth opportunities within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities will be:

  • To work with the sales, marketing and executive teams to implement new business development initiatives/marketing strategies and achieve objectives.
  • Support market analysis from reports, research and data outputs – pharmaceutical developmental companies focussed on Antibody Drug Conjugates.
  • Maintain the CRM database – add/update account/contact information as necessary as well as opportunities as they move through the sales cycle.
  • Work closely with the product’s developers to acquire a thorough understanding of the products/services in order to create a successful marketing strategy.
  • Maximise potential business opportunities by updating our social media accounts and the company’s website, whilst maintaining message/brand/identity coherence.
  • Support activities related to client follow up, proposal development and quotation generation.
  • Assist in writing company press releases and blog articles.
  • Create quality content using technical data for prospective clients.
  • Run weekly/monthly ad hoc sales management quarterly Pipeline forecasting reports.
  • Perform other duties, assignments or special projects as needed or as defined by the team leader/senior management team.
  • Support sales account teams in business-generating efforts, as needed.
  • Organise seminars/webinars and coordinate marketing, conference and networking events.

Qualifications & Skills required are:

  • Batchelor’s degree (life science/marketing/business management related field of study is preferred).
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft programmes and Adobe.
  • An analytical mindset, with experience of data analysis and presentation.
  • Good communication & organisational skills.

Additional Requirements:

  • Working experience in the pharmaceutical/life science industry preferred (some understanding of clinical trials is desired).
  • Demonstrable experience of managing social media platforms and publishing of more traditional articles.
  • Knowledge of all aspects of sales process, business development, financial forecasting and related analytics.
  • Demonstrated effective project management skill is required.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, business planning and ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent person interaction skills, professional telephone and client interaction skills.
  • Self-motivated, able to assume responsibility, and work in a professional team environment.
